The put-in is not too far from Boulder, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so don't forget that many runs in this state are not easy. The Mile Marker 32 to Blue Bridge section is one of many paddling sections in this river system. The nature scenery of Colorado and the water flowing gracefully down Boulder Creek are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. This section of Boulder
Creek in Colorado is 2 miles long and has been rated as a class IV-V(V+) section by American Whitewater. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good places for that around here. The river winds through the Front Range and you get great
scenery. This is a somewhat short section so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby.

70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and overnight lows at Boulder Creek during the winter generally dip into the 0's. Boulder Falls is a magnificent local attraction, and Forsythe Rock is something
you shouldn't miss if you're here. Be careful coming to the Front Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. Black Tiger Gulch is next to Boulder Creek and is a good site. At Boulder Creek you don’t see much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture.
