Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. There are some good hotels near the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. When you're paddling down a Front Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the
way too. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Boulder, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. On this section you do get some distance, good for a one day paddling trip. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The beautiful
scenery of Boulder County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good places for that around here. There are so many stretches to paddle in this river system, the Blue Bridge to Eben G Fine Park stretch is just one of many. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near.

Why not take a refreshing hike along the Green Mountain Trail; Lost Gulch is another tremendous place to stop by nearby. This river is so great. A short trip to Ute Spring is always worthwhile, and no need to travel far to go to exciting stuff like Flagstaff Memorial. At Boulder
Creek through the summertime highs are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Boulder Creek.
