The starting location is a short drive from Boulder, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Colorado you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. is 2.25 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class V+ section of whitewater. The wonderful Boulder County scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a
lot of people coming here. There are so many stretches to paddle in this river system, the Switzerland Park to Boulder Falls stretch is just one of many. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This stretch is short so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of places for that. The Front Range scenery is wonderful.

to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Boulder Creek - North. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Front Range. Boulder Falls is
always fun to check out, and a wonderful location to have a look at nearby is Upham Gulch. Boulder Creek - North gets very little rain; most of the rain falls throughout August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
