This stretch of Boulder Creek - South in Colorado is 7.2 miles long and it is classified as a class IV(V+) section by American Whitewater. This river system is full of great paddling stretches, the Gross Mountain Reservoir to Eldorado State Park stretch is just one of them. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This is a pretty decent length section, good for a one day paddling trip. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that.
