If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so you'd better keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but     you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The scenic beauty of Larimer County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. When you're paddling down a Medicine Bow Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. This stretch has has enough mileage, suitable for an afternoon trip.
