If you're coming from Fort Collins-Loveland it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The wonderful Colorado scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The beautiful Medicine Bow Mountains scenery is an added bonus. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Colorado tend to be more challenging

Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that.
