Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. The rivers for whitewater
rafting and kayaking here in Colorado are often tougher than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem
but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The wild scenery of the Medicine Bow Mountains is great. The starting location is a short drive from Fort Collins-Loveland, as you can see on the road map further down. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers.
