There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. This is a somewhat short section so no need to bring snacks. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.     The starting location is a short drive from Fort Collins-Loveland, as you can see on the road map further down. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy.
