The scenic beauty of Larimer County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. This river system is full of great paddling stretches, the Livermore Bridge to Main Stem stretch is just one of them. The beauty of the Front Range is a great plus for this river. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're
    willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so go ahead and pack your camp stove. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Since you're on
this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of spots for that. The starting location is a short drive from Fort Collins-Loveland, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are sure to keep you coming back for more.
