The average Colorado whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. There are no other stretches to paddle along Cebolla River than the Highway 149 to Blue Mesa Reservoir stretch. The     nature scenery of Gunnison County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Briefly about the general area: Tenmile Springs is a perfect local attraction. Summertime highs at Cebolla River mostly tend to be in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Cebolla River.
