Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Colorado is often more difficult than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. The Cameo Dam section is the only paddling section along Colorado River. This stretch of Colorado River in -blank- County is 0.1 miles long and is a class III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. This is an extremely short stretch so better bring some good walking
shoes. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.

in the 80's to Colorado River. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Colorado River temperatures dip to the 0's. At Colorado River you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls during October while February is commonly the driest month.
