This river system is full of great paddling sections, the Road to Crystal to Beaver Lake section is just one of them. The Road to Crystal to Beaver Lake section of Crystal River in Colorado     is 1.8 miles long and it is classified as a class V+ section by American Whitewater. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. The natural beauty of Colorado and the water flowing gracefully down Crystal River attract people from near and far. This is a somewhat short section so no need to bring snacks. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. Briefly about the general area: It is very waterless here at Crystal River regularly; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. Near Crystal River you come across Mud Gulch which is a good place to stop at. For the duration of the summer months here at Crystal River, high temperatures usually get into the 70's; during summer nights temperatures   are in the 40's. Through the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Crystal River.
