The Camp Hale to Red Cliff stretch of Eagle River is -blank- miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class IV(V) section. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The campgrounds here at Eagle River are pretty good. There are no other stretches
