The Tabernash to Granby section of Fraser River is 9.4 miles long and is a class III-IV section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This stretch     has has enough mileage, you can easily run it on an afternoon. No shortage of good hotels, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more.
