The natural beauty of Eagle County and the water flowing gracefully down Gore Creek are reasons enough to come here and paddle. This stretch of Gore Creek in Colorado is -blank- miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class IV-V section. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. This is the only paddling section along Gore Creek. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because
these hotels fill up quick. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Colorado are often tougher than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. The campgrounds here at Gore Creek are
pretty good.
