Now this is a pretty long section, so better bring your camping gear along. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Green   River are in the 10's. Green River is pretty waterless commonly; May is the month that gets the most rain; January is the month with the least moisture. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Jones Hole Trail.
