Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Colorado tend to be more challenging than the national average, so better not forget that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. If you hurry you can run this stretch in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so go ahead and pack your camp stove. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you     make reservations in advance you're all set. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground.
