The nature scenery of Colorado and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream beats anything. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Colorado is often tougher than elsewhere, so don't forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so pack     your camp stove. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other rivers. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground.
