A good workout and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far     and near. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. There are some good hotels near the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This stretch is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so go ahead and pack your camp stove. This is the only paddling stretch along Hermosa Creek.
