The wonderful Colorado scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Lake Fork Gunnison River beats anything. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Colorado is often tougher than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. great scenery. This stretch is short so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
