The scenic beauty of Colorado and the cool fresh water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. This is a pretty short section so better bring some good walking shoes. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The river winds through the Front Range and you get great scenery. The Intersection of 81rd and 94rd to Buckingham Park stretch is the only paddling stretch along Left Hand Creek. You might have to     settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Colorado tend to be more challenging than the national average, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. Briefly about the general area: Hiking along the Ceran Vrain Trail is nice fun.
