Briefly about the general area:
A journey to Slaughterhouse Gulch is always fun, and the snow is great at Aspen Mountain.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Roaring Fork, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Roaring Fork dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Not much precipitation falls here at Roaring Fork; July is the wettest month with most rain while February is typically the driest month. | |
