The starting point is not too far from Edwards, as you can see on the road map further down. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. The Aspen Music School to Slaughterhouse Bridge section of Roaring Fork is 2 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class IV+ section of whitewater.
