This stretch of Saint Vrain Creek - North in Colorado is 13 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class V+ section. The scenic beauty of Colorado and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The Front Range scenery is wonderful. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or
kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Boulder, as you can see on the road map further down. There are many good
hotels to choose from, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. There are plenty of other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people.
