The wonderful Boulder County scenery and the cool fresh water beats anything. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of spots for that. No shortage of good hotels, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. This stretch is mid length, suitable for     an afternoon trip.
