If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so you'd better keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. to paddle in this river system, the Confluence to 1 in 5 Rapid stretch is just one of many. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. The nature scenery of Boulder County and the beautiful way the water current moves down
the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good places. This is a pretty decent length section, it's perfect for a one day trip.
