The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Colorado are often tougher than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. The beautiful scenery of Boulder County and the playfulness of the water attract people from near and far. The Ceran St. Vrain Trailhead to Confluence stretch of Saint Vrain Creek - South in Boulder County is 5.5 miles long
and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class V+ section. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling spots. On this section you do get some distance, good for a one day paddling trip. There are plenty of hotels here if
you want to spend a night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The beauty of the Front Range is a great plus for this river. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. This is not the only paddling section in this river system, there are others too.
