The starting location is a reasonable drive from Boulder, as you can see on the road map further down. This is a pretty decent length section, good for a one day paddling trip. The scenic beauty of Boulder County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Colorado are often tougher     than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving.
