Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Colorado tend to be more challenging than the national average, so you'd better keep

scenery. The scenic beauty of Archuleta County and the water flowing gracefully down San Juan River are reasons enough to come here and paddle. This section is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while will have you coming back for more.
