This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's good length for a morning trip. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The natural beauty of Colorado and the cool fresh water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle.
