This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of spots for that. On this section you do get some distance, it's perfect for a one day trip.
