Briefly about the general area: At Sweetwater Creek through the summer months highs are in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Sweetwater Creek. Hells Gate is an exciting place to explore while at Sweetwater Creek, and close by Lucky Gulch is a splendid place to go. Around Sweetwater Creek you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally March, that's the one that rains the most while June is usually the driest month.
