Briefly about the general area: Tenmile Creek gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout July while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You are right next door to Frisco Bay since you're here at Tenmile Creek; why not take a refreshing hike along the Miners Creek Trail. This is a   really good river. Throughout the summer months here at Tenmile Creek, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Tenmile Creek tend to be in the 0's. A day on the slopes of Copper Mountain is just what you need, and Tenmile Creek is right by the Lily Pad Lake Trail.
