This stretch of Willow Creek in Colorado is 6 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II section of whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. The campgrounds here at Willow Creek are pretty good. The National Forest Campground to Reservoir stretch is the only
paddling stretch along Willow Creek. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. The wonderful Colorado scenery and the playfulness of the water beats anything. This stretch has
has enough mileage, good for a one day paddling trip. The river winds through the Park Range and you get great scenery. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while will have you coming back for more.
