Deerlodge Park to Split Mountain Campground section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS II-III(IV) 71 miles
The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so better not forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. A stretch this long is of course too much for a one day trip, perfect for a real wilderness adventure. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
