This is a bit of a short stretch so better bring some good walking shoes. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Colorado is often tougher than elsewhere, so better not forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. The 10 000' to Marble Quarry section is the only paddling section along Yule Creek. This stretch of Yule Creek in Gunnison County is 2.25 miles long and is a class V+ section of whitewater according to American Whitewater.     For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Briefly about the general area: Not much rain falls here at Yule Creek; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Hiking along the Munsey Ruby Stock Driveway is good fun. All through the warm months, highs commonly are in the 70's at Yule Creek, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
