The wonderful Connecticut scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with not too many other spots for that. This is a pretty decent length section, suitable for an afternoon trip. The     Bridge in Cannondale to Mouth section of Norwalk River in Connecticut is 8 miles long and has been rated as a class II section by American Whitewater. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
