Factory Shoals section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS III 2.4 miles
this river is very shallow in most spots just like the yellow river. lots of fun all the way to lake jackson. even a good tubing river. Says patrick coady
The average Georgia whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. The wonderful Georgia scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream attract people from near and far. This is a somewhat short section so you'll have to walk
back to the start over and over. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This section of Alcovy River in Newton County is 2.4 miles long and
