This section of Alcovy River in Georgia is 2.4 miles long and it is classified as a class III section by American Whitewater. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. The campgrounds here at Alcovy River are pretty good. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too.
