This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the Factory Shoals section is one of them. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend
some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. This is a short paddling stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that.
You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Georgia are harder than the national norm, so keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners.
