If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. The beautiful scenery of Georgia and the cool fresh water have people coming here. The put-in is not too far from Gainesville, as you can see on the road map further down. of whitewater according to American Whitewater. This stretch has has enough mileage, you can easily run it on an afternoon. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd
better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are lots of good rivers for that around here. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come.
