    is according to American Whitewater a class II-III section of whitewater. The beautiful scenery of Georgia and the water flowing gracefully down Apalachee River will make you feel great. There's camping available near Apalachee River. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if
you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. This is a very short stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. This river system has a few good  
paddling stretches and the Pot Leaf Shoals Apalachee park and play spot section is one of them.

The high level of rain makes Apalachee River a relatively wet location; most of the rain falls during March, and September meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime at Apalachee River comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's; night lows throughout the winter for Apalachee River tend to be in the 30's.
