The put-in location is a short drive from Cornelia, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The beautiful scenery of White/Habersham/Hall County and the water flowing gracefully down Chattahoochee River are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The Robertson to GA Route 115 stretch is one of many paddling stretches in this river system. If you hurry you can run     this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. Whitewater paddling here in the Blue Ridge Mountains is a great experience. If you'll be staying in a hotel you're in luck, lodging is available very near the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
