The nature scenery of White/Habersham/Hall County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Georgia are often more challenging than in other states, so don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of spots for that. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The put-in is not too far from Cornelia, as you can see on the road map further down. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.
