The put-in location is a short drive from Seneca, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and
some kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling places. This stretch is mid length, it's good length for a morning trip. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. There are campgrounds quite near
the river where you can camp. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too.
