If you're coming from Chattanooga it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. This stretch of Cole City Creek is 7.2 miles long and it is classified as a class III+(IV) section by American Whitewater. The natural beauty of Dade County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. There are no other stretches to paddle along Cole City Creek than the Casey Road to Tennessee River stretch. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Georgia are harder than the
national norm, so better not forget that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. The campgrounds here at Cole City Creek are pretty good. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. A bit of
exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's perfect for a one day trip. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.

driest. Seward Point is an exciting thing to make out since you're here at Cole City Creek, and a journey to Sulphur Springs Gulf is always a great idea. The region where Cole City Creek is, is dominated by the Sand Mountain, and nearby Squirrel Tail Gulf is a glorious spot to go.
