is the only paddling stretch along Cooper Creek. On this section you do get some distance, it's perfect for a one day trip. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from
the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The wonderful Fannin County scenery and the playfulness of the water attract people from near and far. Whitewater paddling here in the Blue Ridge Mountains is a great experience.

Cooper Creek typically gets a lot of rain; during the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
