The wonderful Georgia scenery and the playfulness of the water attract people from near and far. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so better not forget that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. On this section you do get some     distance, you can easily run it on an afternoon. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The to Bear Creek section is the only paddling section along Daniel Creek. No shortage of good hotels, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good spots. Briefly about the general area: It's always wonderful to explore Whiteoak Spring, and Little Mans Gulch is a tremendous place to stop at. Daniel Creek is a wet place that gets lots of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is October. For the duration of the months of summer at Daniel Creek highs are mostly in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's.
