The scenic beauty of Hall County and the water flowing gracefully down Flat Creek attract people from near and far. The nearby hotels are a bit away from
the river, but if you donít have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling places. The GA 52 to Glades
stretch of Flat Creek in Hall County is 2.1 miles long and has been rated as a class II-III(V+) section by American Whitewater. This is a somewhat short section so no need to bring snacks. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the GA 52 to Glades section is one of them. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great
campgrounds nearby.
