The Hendricks Road to Flint stretch of Lazer Creek is 10 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-III section of whitewater. The put-in location is a short drive from Thomaston, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. If you have the time you can make this a two day     trip, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a pretty small number of paddling rivers. The natural beauty of Georgia and the water flowing gracefully down Lazer Creek have people coming here. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Lazer Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Hendricks Road to Flint stretch is the only one.
