The nature scenery of Georgia and the cool fresh water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. If you've been
    out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. The put-in location is a short drive from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta,
if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but if you donít have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. The Below Highway 54 Close to Peachtree City stretch of Line Creek is 6 miles long and is according to American Whitewater  
a class II+ section of whitewater. The campgrounds here at Line Creek are pretty good. The Below Highway 54 Close to Peachtree City section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers.

Briefly about the general area:
You're sure to bump into some friendly folks from Peachtree City here. At Line Creek during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and the night is fairly chillier of course, commonly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Line Creek fall into the 30's.
