The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Georgia are often more challenging than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. Mobley Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Banks Mill Road to confluence with upper section of Dog section is the only one. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end     up sleeping in your car. The Banks Mill Road to confluence with upper section of Dog section of Mobley Creek is 0.75 miles long and is a class II-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. This is a very short section so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times.
