  This stretch of Nickajack Creek is 4 miles long and is a class II-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Georgia are often tougher than in other states, so better not forget that rivers here are less forgiving. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. There are no other sections to
    paddle along Nickajack Creek than the East-West Connector to Bankhead Highway section. The natural beauty of Cobb County and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile.
