Victoria Bryant State Park to GA 145 section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS III 1 miles
The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. The natural beauty of Georgia and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. This section of Rice Creek is 1 miles long and is a class III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The starting point
is not too far from Toccoa, as you can see on the road map further down. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This is the only paddling section along Rice Creek.
This section is very short so no need to bring snacks. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby.
