The Lula Lake Road to Chattooga Valley Road stretch of Rock Creek in Georgia is 2.72 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class V+ section. This stretch is short so better bring some good walking shoes. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so better not forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. And
of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The scenic beauty of Georgia and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots
of people. There are many good hotels to choose from, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. There are no other sections to paddle along Rock Creek than the Lula Lake Road to Chattooga Valley Road section.
Briefly about the general area: Lula Falls is always fun to check out, and nearby you locate the Bluff Trail which is a fine hiking trail. If you want to check out some attention-grabbing
stuff, check out Eagle Cliff. At this river you will never have a bad time. Payne Gap is a magnificent place to stop by close by; Knight Spring is a scenic spot to explore while you're at Rock Creek. A cool spot to visit in the neighborhood of Rock Creek is Hawk Cliff; there
is a nice hiking trail close by called the Skyuka Trail. All through the warmest time of the year here at Rock Creek, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 40's,
and overnight lows in the 20's for Rock Creek. All the water falling down from the sky makes Rock Creek a wet site; March is the month that gets the most rain, and June is when it's the driest.
