The Windy Hill Road to Chattahoochee River stretch of Rottenwood Creek is 2.25 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III-IV section. The wonderful Cobb County scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Rottenwood Creek will make you feel great. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. This is the only     paddling stretch along Rottenwood Creek. This is a short paddling stretch so no need to bring snacks. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground.
